Winter storm hits Kansas City
Another round of winter weather has arrived in Kansas City, bringing with it ice, snow and wind gusts up to 35 mph. The storm has caused slick roads as well as school and office closures.

Rain, sleet and snow are possible from a winter storm that will cut its way through the Midwest on Wednesday and Thursday, according to the National Weather Service.
How much snow will fall in the Kansas City area is still uncertain. The heaviest snow is expected to fall in a narrow band stretching from the southwestern side of the Kansas City metro area to Moberly, Missouri, where 6 to 8 inches of snow is possible, according to the latest forecast.
Areas immediately north and south will see a few inches less while less than 3 inches of snow is expected across northwestern and far northern Missouri.

The data, which is used to demonstrate the level of uncertainties during winter storms, shows that the weather service is pretty certain that most in the Kansas City will see between 3 and 7 inches of snow.
