KCI developer, unions cross major hurdle on strikes, non-union bids

On Thursday, July 19, the developer of the new KCI terminal announced it had reached an agreement in principle with construction trade unions that includes a “no strike” clause and a provision for non-union firms to bid for a limited amount of work on the billion dollar-plus project.
