Restaurant near Kansas City’s Plaza temporarily closed for health code violations
Cafe Sebastienne temporarily closed recently for health code violations. It has since reopened.
The restaurant, in the Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art at 4420 Warwick Blvd., was cited during an April 15 routine inspection. According to the inspection report, a number of food items had been held at improper temperatures and had to be discarded, including salmon, provolone cheese, sour cream, milk, cream cheese, raw sausage, butter, cooked chicken and raw bacon.
It had no violations during a follow-up inspection Monday.
In a statement, Louise Forster, spokeswoman for Kemper Museum, said: “The equipment issue that necessitated the shutdown was immediately repaired, reinspected at the first available opportunity, and approved to reopen with no violations.”
