Outside ownership

In neighborhoods east of Troost, like Ivanhoe, a large number of properties are owned by individuals or companies from outside the city, state or even country, as marked in red. Click on the parcels to see the name and address of the owners.

In neighborhoods west of Troost, such as in Wornall Homestead or Armour Hills, the vast majority of properties are owned by those who occupy them. Parcels marked in red are single-family homes or businesses owned by entities from outside of Kansas City, Missouri.

Compare neighborhoods to see the difference.

Neighborhoods east of the Troost also have a larger number of vacant properties, as marked in green in Ivanhoe, Wornall Homestead, Brookside Park and Armour Hills.
