Chiefs’ 2025 Super Bowl run

The Kansas City Chiefs fell to the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans on Sunday, Feb. 9, falling short of a historic third-straight win.

The Kansas City Chiefs have arrived in New Orleans.

For many Chiefs fans, it’ll be a long wait until Sunday, Feb. 9, when KC meets the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX with a chance at history on the line.

The Eagles will try to avenge a loss to the Chiefs in Super Bowl LVII two years ago, while Patrick Mahomes and company hope to pull off a record-breaking three-peat.

A Super Bowl win would be the fourth such victory for Mahomes and coach Andy Reid, who has made his own bit of history during the playoffs. Others seeking a fourth title include star tight end Travis Kelce and standout defensive lineman Chris Jones.

Kansas City Chiefs arrive in New Orleans

The Kansas City Chiefs touched down in New Orleans early Sunday evening. Media night festivities will get Super Bowl week kicked off on Monday.

Super Bowl LIX schedule details

This year’s Super Bowl will take place Sunday, Feb. 9, kicking off at 5:30 p.m. The game will be shown on Fox (Channel 4 in Kansas City; Channel 24 in Wichita).

Kevin Burkhardt and Tom Brady will be on the call. The Chiefs are a 1.5-point favorite with the game about one week away.
