Kansas City foodies: Hungry for something new?

The metro is constantly debuting its fair share of coffee shops, bars and eateries. The Star aims to keep readers abreast of all things dining, so they might be the coveted friends in their social groups to say, “Have you heard about this new restaurant?”

In the spirit of trendiness, here’s The Star’s list of all the restaurants that opened in June.

Happy reading (and eating)!

Martin City Tavern & Terrace, 1999 Main St.

A sister spot of Martin City Brewing Co., Martin City Tavern & Terrace opened June 5, serves its signature pizzas as well as expanded menu items like smashburgers and tacos. Its IPAs and stouts are still on tap at the new location. Perhaps its most notable feature is its rooftop terrace that offers panoramic views.
