Travis Kelce bid on Taylor Swift-autographed item at Mahomes’ charity auction
The Chiefs always have a good time in Las Vegas, whether it’s the continued success at the Raiders’ stadium or partying on the Strip after winning Super Bowl LVIII there.
Perhaps that’s why Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes’ foundation is having its golf event this weekend in Vegas.
Things kicked off Thursday with fun and games, including a banquet with an auction to raise money for the 15 and the Mahomies Foundation.
One of the items up for bids was a guitar autographed by superstar singer Taylor Swift, who is dating Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.
A video from Instagram user Lauren Door shows Kelce with an auction paddle in his hand as he appeared to have bid $10,000 before someone made a new offer.
Kelce then “remembered” something: “I just realized I have that already.”
That drew a big laugh, but Kelce apparently still agreed to donate the $10,000 to Mahomes’ foundation.
Others at the event included former Broncos and Bills star Von Miller, who caught a pass from Mahomes, Chiefs receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster and former KC players Jamaal Charles and Mitchell Schwartz.
Other former players on hand: Danny Amendola and Matt Leinart.
