If the rumors are true, it’s just a few weeks until the wedding of the year, decade or century. Take your pick.

Tight end Travis Kelce wrapped up mandatory minicamp with his Chiefs teammates Thursday, and now he can focus on ... well, a lot of things. Kelce did a live broadcast of his New Heights podcast with brother, Jason. And Tight End University returns later this month.

But there’s also the wedding to singing sensation Taylor Swift. That’s apparently going to be held July 3 at Madison Square Garden in New York. The gossip sites are reporting that.

Chiefs coach Andy Reid has been asked about the pending nuptials many times, and that was the case again Thursday when he talked with the media to wrap up minicamp. Just like anyone who is asked about the wedding, Reid didn’t offer any details.

But he did rave about Kelce, who put off retirement to return for a 14th NFL season.

“Can’t talk about it, can’t talk about it,” Reid said as reporters laughed. “Listen, he’s been here most of the offseason, if not the whole offseason, he’s been around. It’s good to have him here. He did the mandatory camp and did a nice job there, so it’s good to have him back in and rolling. He’s very excited.

“You see no distractions with that and the wedding. If it’s like when I got married, my wife did everything. I just kind of followed her lead on it. Showed up, right? Maybe he’s doing more, but he looks like he’s pretty focused in on this job here, too.”

Here’s guessing Kelce is not doing as much wedding planning as Swift.
