Selection Sunday is here, so let the games begin. And not just the actual men’s and women’s college basketball games that make up the NCAA Tournament. Filling out your bracket (or brackets) is a whole other kind of fun.

The four regionals this year will be in Kansas City (Midwest), Las Vegas (West), New York (East) and Louisville, Ky. (South). The Final Four this year will be in Houston.

Locally, the Jayhawks landed as a No. 1 seed ... but not in the Midwest. Kansas was bumped to the West Region, which goes through Las Vegas. Houston finished one spot ahead of the Jayhawks, which placed the Cougars in the Midwest.

Alabama was the committee’s No. 1-overall seed out of the South Region. Purdue landed as the last No. 1 and is headed to New York.

K-State is the No. 3 seed in Purdue’s East Regional, while Missouri is the No. 7 seed in Alabama’s South Regional.
