A Roeland Park man was sentenced to 25 years in prison in Johnson County court Wednesday for the Christmas Eve 2023 deaths of a pregnant woman and her unborn child.

Nicholas Gregg pleaded no contest to two counts of distribution of drugs causing death on May 22, according to a Johnson County court document. All other charges against him were dismissed.

Gregg provided narcotics, including fentanyl, to 31-year-old Alexandrea Hunter, resulting in the woman’s death on Christmas Eve in 2023, according to court documents. Hunter’s unborn child also died.

Izabel Reed, also of Roeland Park, was sentenced to 25 years in prison April 1 after previously pleading no contest to two counts of distribution of drugs causing death.
