Travis Kelce shares tiny peek into how wedding plans with Taylor Swift are going
No date has been announced for the upcoming nuptials between Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and his fiancée, superstar singer Taylor Swift.
But “Tonight Show” host Jimmy Fallon was a guest on the latest episode of the New Heights podcast and asked Kelce about the upcoming wedding.
“So are you working on planning the wedding?” Fallon asked. “Are you doing this now? Is that next?”
Travis Kelce said: “Yeah, that’s the next step. That’s the next step.”
Fallon told Kelce not to stress about wedding planning.
“That one’s gonna be easy. I just gotta figure out how to win a football game first,” Kelce quipped. “It’ll be easier than trying to figure out how to catch .... a football.”
That was Kelce taking a subtle dig at himself for dropping a pass in the Chiefs’ loss Sunday to the Eagles.
Fallon, who is a music lover, then asked if there would be a DJ or live band at the wedding.
“I think we’re live music kind of people, you know?” Kelce said.
The band Foreigner already has offered to play at the Kelce-Swift wedding, but it remains to be seen who will get that gig.
But it’s interesting to hear Kelce, who became engaged to Swift last month, offer a tiny look into the wedding plans.
