Chiefs’ Travis Kelce on the biggest change to his life since dating Taylor Swift
Just days after superstar singer Taylor Swift attended her first Chiefs game as a fan of the team, and specifically, tight end Travis Kelce, life changed dramatically for Kelce.
Photos of Swift and Kelce’s family leaving his Briarcliff home appeared in an English tabloid in 2023. Since then, pictures of Kelce leaving his new home in Johnson County or a Chiefs practice have popped up online.
Ditto for any date night activity Kelce and Swift might have, whether it’s in New York or New Orleans ahead of Super Bowl LIX. Heck, Kelce’s neighbor was misidentified as the Chiefs tight end on one celebrity website.
While on the Bussin’ With The Boys podcast, Kelce was asked about how life changed for him when he began dating the world’s biggest pop star.
“It’s just the paparazzi,” Kelce said. “That’s probably the only thing I didn’t really grasp until you’re in it. And that’s probably the craziest part, though. I’m just playing golf and all of a sudden, in the trees, there’s a .... guy with a camera. And it’s like ... I’ve got to go to the restroom now. I can’t just go over here and take a piss, right?
“I’ve never been ashamed of slamming beers. I just don’t want my meat on Page Six, you know what I mean?”
Dozens of stories are written whenever Kelce and Swift simply have a meal or attend a sporting event.
Kelce said the couple is not seeking the attention.
“Having fun with it, man, yeah, being a couple, dude,” Kelce said. “You already know it gets thrown out there as it’s like we’re trying to seek attention every now and then. But it’s like we’re just enjoying life and having fun.”
