Tommy Hilfiger teases possible Travis Kelce appearance at New York Fashion Week
Is there anything more that Travis Kelce can add to his already busy plate?
Now there’s a possible appearance at New York Fashion Week in September, squeezed in just days before the Chiefs’ first game of the regular season?
Tommy Hilfiger teased it with an Instagram post on Wednesday congratulating Kelce on his wedding last week to Taylor Swift.
Kelce is a member of the Hilfiger “family” now after the company hired him as a global brand ambassador and creative collaborator earlier this year.
The company said Kelce would be the focus of its Fall 2026 ad campaign in a collaboration that will continue into spring 2027.
“Congratulations @killatrav! See you at The Plaza in September,” the company wrote Wednesday on Instagram.
It didn’t take long for fashion observers to check the Chiefs’ schedule.
When Hilfiger signed Kelce it did not rule out the possibility that he might walk the runway at some point.
The busy New York Fashion Week is slated for Sept. 11-15. The Hilfiger Spring 2027 runway show is slated for Sept. 10 at New York’s iconic Plaza Hotel.
That conveniently fits right between the Chiefs’ last preseason game against Seattle on Aug. 28 and the first regular season game against Denver on Sept. 14.
An appearance could mean Kelce scores a cherished front row seat at the show or possibly walks the runway. He wouldn’t be the first NFLer to walk in a fashion show.

Kelce was in New York City in April being photographed for the Hilfiger campaign.
“Known for his presence both on and off the field, he brings a new perspective to timeless American style, blending confidence, individuality and a modern point of view,” Hilfiger wrote on social media in March when it announced its partnership with the tight end.
“From the field to the front row, this is just the beginning.”
At the time WWD reported that Kelce would be wearing Hilfiger in his pregame tunnel walks during the upcoming NFL season.
“When I met Tommy, we connected over our shared belief in just having fun with it and the endless creativity in self-expression and personal style,” Kelce told WWD.
Kelce and Swift invited Hilfiger and his wife to their wedding. Dee Ocleppo Hilfiger posted a selfie of herself with her husband on the way to the event.
Swift reportedly was with Kelce in April during the Hilfiger fashion shoot. The Daily Mail reported that she waited for him at the Plaza Hotel during the afternoon session at Central Park.
“See you soon!! @killatrav,” the hotel commented on the Hilfiger post Wednesday.
