The clock had not yet hit all zeroes at Super Bowl LIX, but the outcome wasn’t in doubt.

Unfortunately for the Chiefs, they knew the Eagles had beaten them and KC’s hopes of the first-ever Super Bowl three-peat were dashed.

“Turning Point” on ESPN+ showed quarterback Patrick Mahomes talking with teammates late in the game. Mahomes and tight end Travis Kelce hugged on the sideline, and video of that moment went viral earlier this week.

We now know what the Chiefs teammates and friends said to one another in that moment.

Mahomes told Kelce: “Love you, brother.”

Kelce’s response: “Forever dog, you know that. I owe you a lot for this.”

The ESPN video also showed Mahomes tell running back Isiah Pacheco the Chiefs would return to the Super Bowl in the future.

And there was a nice clip of defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo’s message to defensive backs Justin Reid and Trent McDuffie: “I not only say I love you when we win. I love you guys no matter what.”

Here is that clip.
