‘Where is America’s Sweetheart?’ Fans want more of Jason Kelce at Chiefs-Ravens game
One of the most popular people at the AFC Championship Game on Sunday wasn’t even on the field.
No, not Taylor Swift.
Fans looked for him in the crowd after his viral appearance at the Chiefs-Bills game last week.
“Where’s Jason Kelce?” one fan tweeted early in the game.
Kelce, the Philadelphia Eagles center and brother of Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, exuberantly shed his shirt at the Bills playoff game in Orchard Park, New York, and instantly became a meme and T-shirt logo. The viral image of his NFL-sized hairy chest even popped up on cookies and cakes.
So of course fans wanted more, more, more of him in Baltimore and took to social media for clues to his whereabouts.
“Where is America’s Sweetheart? Where is @JasonKelce?” one fan tweeted.
“I want to know what Jason Kelce is up to right now honestly,” tweeted Queen Jamie of the Gridiron.
When they couldn’t see him in the crowd, some people assumed Kelce had been banished to the naughty corner after last weekend.
“Someone let this man take his shirt off,” one X user begged.
So where was he?
Before the game he was in the crowd taking selfies.
During the game, he sat next to his dad, Ed Kelce, and near his mom, Donna Kelce, in a private area near his brother’s girlfriend, Taylor Swift, and her entourage.
One video snippet of Kelce in his seat looking down at his lap made some people think he was sleeping.
But he was looking at the phone in his hand.
