The Chiefs will be going for an L.A. trifecta this weekend.
After finishing a season sweep of the Chargers with a 30-27 victory on “Sunday Night Football” at SoFi Stadium, the Chiefs will face the Rams at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
The Rams are the defending Super Bowl champions, but they face a long road to a repeat. They have lost four straight games and are 14th in the NFC with a 3-7 record. The only sliver of hope for L.A. is they are just three games out of first place in the AFC West.
But the Rams will probably need to win out to take the division title. And the oddsmakers don’t like L.A.’s chances this weekend, as the Chiefs open as two-touchdown favorites.
That’s because of the Rams’ record and due to quarterback Matthew Stafford’s status being unknown. He’s being evaluated for a concussion and the Rams should know more Monday, NBC Sports reported.
