Two tornadoes touched down early Wednesday in Miami County, according to the National Weather Service.

The first tornado began at 1:21 a.m. near Hillsdale and ended about 15 minutes later close to Louisburg. Winds during the nearly 10 mile path reached 85 mph.

The second tornado began at 1:24 a.m. near Wagstaff and lasted about 13 minutes, ending close to Drexel after just under 10 miles. Winds during the second tornado peaked at 80 mph.

Both tornadoes were rated as EF-0. The EF scale goes from zero to five and measures the severity of a tornado based on wind speeds and damage.

No one was injured during the early morning tornadoes, according to the National Weather Service.
