Did a traffic camera at an Overland Park intersection capture the winds of possible tornado early Wednesday morning?

The Overland Park Police Department released a video from a traffic camera at the intersection of 95th Street and Metcalf Avenue recorded at the time a tornado is thought to have moved through the area.

The video starts out showing the intersection with dry pavement and within moments rain starts to fall soaking the streets. It is obvious in the video that the rain is being driven by wind from one direction. The rain strengthens and shortly after it intensifies the wind appears to violently switch directions driving the rain in the opposite direction.

Trees in the parking lot of the nearby Jack Stack Barbecue restaurant were heavily damaged by the winds. The damage from the storm along 95th Street started in Lenexa and extends east all the way into Kansas City, Missouri.
