Sunny skies and warmer temperatures return to Kansas City this week

The next week will be sunnier and warmer in Kansas City as storms move out of the region.

Beginning Sunday, the next week is expected to be clear and sunny across the metro area, according to the National Weather Service.

Sunday’s temperatures will likely warm up to about 77, followed by an overnight low around 55.

The coming workweek will see more of the same.

Monday through Friday, the temperatures will warm up into the high 70s and low 80s, according to the weather service. No rain is in the forecast.

The overnight temperatures will stay in the high 50s and low 60s throughout the week.

Next weekend is also expected to be sunny and clear, with a high in the upper 70s come Saturday.
