Dive into this 360 degree interactive image, below, that presents a view of what fans might see while sitting in the stands of a downtown Kansas City Royals baseball stadium if it were constructed near the 18th and Vine Historic District. Use your computer’s mouse or touchpad to control the image yourself. Control the image with your fingers on mobile devices.
The image was made with a drone near the intersection of East 18th Street and The Paseo. One possible spot for a new baseball stadium would be in an area between the Jazz District and the southeast corner of the downtown loop that is now mostly occupied by facilities for Kansas City Area Transportation Authority and Manual Career Technical Center.
