If you need a break from KC’s winter, here are 5 flights from KCI under $200

Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow Monday, Feb. 2, which means the groundhog is predicting six more weeks of winter. Warmer days are ahead in Kansas City, with some days this week seeing temperatures reach near the 50-degree mark.

The official winter season doesn’t come to an end until March 20, meaning if you want a small escape from the winter blues, you’ll need to travel elsewhere. Lucky for travelers, Kansas City International Airport offers cheaper flights for anyone looking to get out of the cold on a budget.

The 14 airlines that serve KCI take visitors to all areas of the United States. Whether you are looking for a summer-like trip or seeking to escape Kansas City for a few days, there are options available.
