Chappell Roan’s stage is going up near Kansas City’s Liberty Memorial

Chappell Roan will take the stage in Kansas City in a matter of days, but her actual stage is already here.

The Missouri-born pop star is playing two sold-out shows on Friday, Oct. 3, and Saturday, Oct. 4, at what tickets call the “Museum and Memorial Grounds,” but locals might know it better as the area surrounding the National World War I Museum and Memorial, or the Liberty Memorial.

Since the weekend, crews have been on site setting up for the shows, bringing in tents, fences, merch and, of course, the stage itself. The setup covers most of the area to the south and east of the memorial.

It’s part of Roan’s Visions of Damsels and Other Dangerous Things Tour, which is only going to two other sites in the U.S., the Los Angeles and New York areas. So fans from all over the middle of the country are expected to converge in KC to see the performance, which will welcome about 30,000 fans about a night.

Fans eager for the show can get details on the openers, explore beloved sites around Kansas City and learn about Missouri landmarks linked to Roan. Plus, you’ll want to plan ahead for how to get to the concert on a busy weekend for Kansas City and, of course, get your costume H-O-T-T-O-G-O.
