Delta Airlines adds nonstop flight from KC to this popular site. See where

Another airline will take Kansas City travelers to a popular flight destination in December, offers travelers a new way to access to warmer climates and escape the winter blues.

Delta Airlines, which added nonstop flights to Raleigh-Durham International Airport in North Carolina, is bringing a flight from Kansas City International Airport to Mexican coastal resort Cancun. It’s another travel destination added to KCI, as Allegiant Airlines also added a nonstop flight to Alabama’s Gulf Shores in 2025.

The airline said in a press release that it’s launching its largest-ever schedule to Latin America and the Caribbean in the winter of 2025. Other cities are receiving nonstop flights to destinations St. Vincent and the Grenadines and Grenada in the Caribbean.

“With two brand-new destinations in the Eastern Caribbean, Delta is expanding its offering in the region, with even more seats to Latin America and the Caribbean this winter,” Paul Baldoni, a senior vice president at Delta, said in a statement. “Customers across the U.S. will also benefit from more flights to top destinations from hubs in the Midwest and Northeast, as well as new direct service from key cities like Austin, Nashville and Raleigh-Durham.”

The nonstop route to Cancun will take Kansas City passengers to Cancun International Airport on Saturdays only from Dec. 20 through April 12, 2026. The Boeing 737-800 flight is nonstop service, and features first class, Delta Comfort+ and main cabin options.

Alaska Airlines and American Airlines offer seasonal service to Cancun, and Southwest offers year-round service, according to KCI’s flight website. .
