Shimmery, freckled Taylor Swift sports flirty plaid, more tall boots at Chiefs-Saints

So at this point, can we just declare GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium Taylor Swift’s personal runway? Because for her return to Chiefs Kingdom after missing the last two away games, she made fans gasp in a sexy two-piece ensemble of plaid.

And then they looked at close-up photos of her face and noticed the red-and-gold freckles sprinkled across her cheeks.

Trend alert: Pippi Longstocking Era.

According to Taylor Swift Styled on Instagram, the pop star wore Westwood from head-to-toe, including the British designer’s Grace Boots ($1,270) and carried its Belle Heart Frame Jacquard bag ($590).

Fans loved the look, noting how Swift, who has been on a break from her Eras Tour the last few weeks, has been wearing plaid lately.

The ensemble called to mind the sexy Versace outfit of denim shorts and bustier and thigh-high burgundy boots she wore to the season opener on Sept. 5 against the Ravens.

Swift’s jewelry grabbed attention, too, though it might not have provided the Easter egg that Swifties were looking for.

According to Sarah Chapelle, keeper of Taylor Swift Styled, Swift wore at least $42,00 worth of jewelry, though that’s likely an underestimate because Chapelle was unable to source a couple of pieces.

Swift paired $177 Westwood embellished earrings with a herringbone Cartier necklace worth $27,250. Her wrists were decorated with more than $10,000 worth of jewels from LA designer Jacquie Aiche — a $5,520 evil eye bracelet and $5,950 diamond bar bracelet.

“(Darn) the necklace is *just* outside my price range,” joked one of Chapelle’s Instagram followers.

“I always choke a little bit any time I see the prices of some of these things she’s wearing. Like, her jewelry is worth more than my entire life,” another wrote.

Chapelle noted that Swift has worn the necklace and bracelets before.

“As a fashion refresher, the symbol seen on Taylor’s earrings and bag is the Vivienne Westwood ‘orb’ logo,” Chapelle wrote.

“The logo is iconic to VW house codes. It was designed to be a take on the Sovereign orb of the British Royal Family and a cheeky reference to Vivienne’s self-described title of ‘queen’ of fashion.

“But I can certainly see the similarities made to UFOs (especially given the repeat use of the MTV VMA boots seen here that Taylor first wore a UFO abduction tapestry dress by Monse) and wanting to be ‘down bad’ for an Egg.”

Swift returns to the final leg of her tour on Oct. 18 in Miami, while the Chiefs have a bye week next week.
