Is Taylor Swift sneaking into Kansas City to ‘quietly’ hang out with Travis Kelce?
Tabloids and celebrity media tracking the comings and goings of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce report that the singer secretly flew into Kansas City on Friday to see him, the day after his 34th birthday.
Unconfirmed reports of the visit first surfaced in Us Weekly, whose “insider” sources were quoted by Britain’s The Daily Mail and The New York Post whose own sources reportedly verified the trip.
With the headline, “Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Quietly Hung Out in Kansas City Before Minnesota Game,” the magazine reported that Swift flew in from Nashville on Friday “to see Travis.” An unnamed source said Kelce chose to have a “chill night” here with the superstar.
After two high-profile appearances at Chiefs games vs. the Bears in Kansas City and against the Jets in New Jersey, Swift did not attend Sunday’s Vikings game at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, dashing the hopes of city officials, radio stations and Swifties there.
While there are no details of Swift’s alleged visit last week, tabloids reported what Kelce did on his birthday, thanks to paparazzi now shadowing him around town.
The New York Post’s Page Six obtained photos of the tight end hanging out with friends in the parking lot at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium on Thursday. It reported what he wore, how many other cars his friends arrived in and how much time they spent in the parking lot before he returned to the training facility.
Tabloids also published pictures of Kelce at a convenience store buying cigars. Close-up shots even revealed the brand.
Photos also emerged showing him posing with a woman outside the Golden Ox steakhouse Thursday night in the West Bottoms, where he reportedly had dinner with friends.
Kelce has pumped the brakes on sharing any more intel about Swift.
She has been known to keep serious romances under the radar, which is where this relationship began. TMZ reported last month that the two had hung out together “several times” since Kelce saw her perform at Arrowhead in July.
Online, fans of both have expressed growing concerns about their privacy.
