Last week at this time, a new group of Chiefs fans was attempting to learn the basics of football.

Fans of Taylor Swift couldn’t be blamed for not knowing the difference between a touchback and a tailback, because the Swifties are focused on the goings-on of the superstar singer/songwriter.

Swift made her second appearance at a Chiefs game Sunday, as she once again cheered for tight end Travis Kelce. And this time she brought a few high-profile friends with her.

Now that football is part of Swift’s life, a Chiefs fan named Holly took it upon herself to make a guide for the Swifties who are now cheering for the Chiefs.

“A few important points,” Holly wrote.

“1. We do not trash Brittany Mahomes

“2. Don’t embarrass us football fans please

“3. #Chiefskingdom got TK87

“4. We are in the AFC WEST, we hate the Broncos, Raiders and Chargers

“5. Act like y’all know a little football please Welcome to #Chiefskingdom”

Many fans loved that Swifty Guide To The Chiefs, and some shared their ideas for additions to the list or simply emphasized some points.

These were some of the responses.
