This popular women’s yoga fashion brand will open on the Country Club Plaza
Los Angeles-based activewear brand Alo Yoga is coming to the Country Club Plaza.
The store will be located at 422 Nichols Road, in the former Kindred storefront, and will be the brand’s first location in Kansas City when it opens this spring, according to a Plaza news release.
“We’re thrilled to welcome ALO to Country Club Plaza and to debut their first location in the Kansas City metro area,” Chris Harren, vice president of development for Gillon Property Group, said in a statement. “ALO represents the kind of innovative, lifestyle-driven brand our guests are looking for. This addition reflects our continued commitment to bringing sought-after, best-in-class brands to the Plaza.”
Founded in 2007, Alo is a wellness lifestyle brand with roots in yoga and mindfulness, according to the release. Alo is known for its high-performance, fashion-forward apparel.
The company plans to offer an elevated retail experience centered on modern wellness with their signature aesthetic and studio-to-street philosophy.
This announcement comes after several other businesses that have opened on the Plaza, including the new food hall Plaza Provisions, rooftop bar Momentum Lounge, women’s boutique Perch and men’s luxury clothing store J.H. & Sons. Vertice Italian and popular women’s fashion brand LoveShackFancy are set to open sometime in 2026.
