Another Ross Dress for Less discount store in the works for Johnson County
This week Ross Dress for Less said it plans 75 new locations. One of those will be in Johnson County.
The company is going through the Merriam Planning Commission seeking approval for a sign in part of the former Hen House (which was at 5800 Antioch Road), said Bryan Dyer, community development director. The 22,623-square-foot space is in Merriam Town Center.
Officials with Ross Dress for Less did not return phone calls or emails. Officials with Merriam Town Center couldn’t be reached Wednesday for comment, but Ross Dress for Less is now listed on the center’s map.
Ross Dress for Less is one of the nation’s largest off-price apparel and home fashion chains, with 1,649 locations in 40 states, the District of Columbia and Guam.
