Made in KC to expand ‘cozy cabin’ coffee shop to Waldo, selling beer and cocktails

A Fairway coffee shop and bar with a cozy log cabin feel is expanding with a new Waldo location.

Front Range Coffeehouse & Provisions plans an October opening at 400 E. Gregory Blvd., at the northeast corner of Gregory and Oak Street. The space previously housed a gallery.

Front Range is a sister concept of Made in KC, which has stores and cafes across the metro. It sells coffee and pastries from local brands, as well as beer, wine and cocktails.

Keith Bradley, Thomas McIntyre and Tyler Enders opened Front Range Coffeehouse & Provisions in the Fairway Shops in mid-2019. Both Bradley and Enders live in the Waldo area and wanted one in their neighborhood.

“We like everything about that area — the density and the walkability,” Bradley said.

The new location will have a larger retail area than the Fairway shop for local specialty food products, candles, prints and other goods.

The partners also plan to open Outta the Blue coffee shop in Leawood’s Park Place in late May, and a Made in KC Marketplace in The District at Lenexa City Center in October.
