Coach parlays Graceland glory to Emporia State basketball job

Craig Doty, who led Graceland (Iowa) to the NAIA Division I national championship last month in Kansas City, is the new Emporia State basketball coach.

Doty, 32, also won two national junior college championships at Rock Valley College in Rockford, Ill. He replaces Shaun Vandiver, who left to join the staff at Wyoming.
