Weekend homicide victim identified as 48-year-old KCK man

Kansas City, Kan., police have released the name of a 48-year-old man who was shot and killed Saturday in what detectives are investigating as a homicide.

Jarrod O’Donnell, of Kansas City, Kan., was found shot about 11 p.m. Saturday inside a home in the 1700 block of North 127th Street. Officers had been called to the home for a reported disturbance and found O’Donnell dead from an apparent gunshot wound to the abdomen.

O’Donnell’s home address is listed at a residence in the same fourplex where he was found.

The incident is being investigated by the Kansas City, Kan., Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division.
