Man found slain on Cypress Avenue double shooting was 30-year-old
Kansas City police have identified a 30-year-old man killed in a double shooting Monday as Eugene Webb.
The shooting was reported around 2:45 a.m. near 39th Street and Cypress Avenue.
Officers arrived and found Webb dead from a gunshot wound and another man who also had been shot. The surviving victim was rushed to a hospital for treatment of his injuries.
No details were released on what prompted the shooting. Police had no suspect information.
