KC police investigating body found inside house on East 56th Terrace

Kansas City police are investigating the discovery Saturday morning of a body of a deceased male inside a house in the 4000 block of East 56th Terrace.

Police said they discovered the body around 7 a.m. after responding to a report of shots being fired.

There was no suspect information at this time. The death is being investigated as a homicide.

The Kansas City area has recorded 141 homicides in 2016, including 90 in Kansas City.
