Julianna Zobrist pens farewell letter to Royals fans
The Ben Zobrist era in Royals history is gone, but it won’t be forgotten.
On Tuesday, Zobrist agreed to a four-year contract with the Chicago Cubs, and he appeared in 75 games with the Royals (16 of those were in the playoffs).
It wasn’t a long tenure, but it certainly his time in Kansas City made an impact on his wife, Julianna Zobrist. On Wednesday, she posted a message on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to show her love for Kansas City:
Dear Royals Fans, Even though our time with you was short, it was unforgettable. Every fan I met, I swear I fell in love with.
