Chiefs set minicamp dates, and it’s good news for Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce
The Chiefs have finalized their offseason workout dates and there is good news for tight end Travis Kelce.
Us Weekly reported Kelce is set to marry superstar singer Taylor Swift on June 13 with festivities expected to take place at her Rhode Island mansion and Ocean House, a five-star seaside resort.
The Chiefs’ mandatory minicamp, which will be the team’s final workouts before training camp, will be held June 9-11. That will give Kelce plenty of time to get to Rhode Island to tie the knot.
June 11 is also the date of the Songwriters Hall of Fame induction ceremony in New York, and Swift is going to be honored.
Kelce, 36, announced last month that he would be returning to the Chiefs for a 14th season. Of course, it’s possible that Chiefs coach Andy Reid will give Kelce the opportunity to skip minicamp to focus on the wedding.
Here are some other dates of note for the Chiefs, and the Organized Team Activities have not been announced.
Offseason program begins: April 20
NFL Draft: April 23-25
Rookie minicamp: May 1-2
OTA sessions: TBD in May and June
Mandatory minicamp: June 9-11
