Patrick & Brittany Mahomes celebrate daughter Golden’s first birthday with fun party
A year ago, the Chiefs had the top seed and a bye in the NFL playoffs. The latter was of particular importance to quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
“I told my wife, my pregnant wife, I was going to get that No. 1 seed, so we can go have that baby,” Patrick Mahomes said in an interview on Netflix after the Chiefs beat the Steelers on Christmas Day 2024. “So we got the No. 1 seed.”
The Chiefs had the time off and Mahomes got to be with his wife, Brittany, the KC Current co-owner. She gave birth to the couple’s third child, a daughter named Golden, on Jan. 12, 2025.
On Sunday, the Mahomeses celebrated Golden’s first trip around the sun with a fun first birthday party. The couple shared photos and a video from the bash, which was enjoyed by their other kids, daughter Sterling and son, Bronze.
