Brittany and Patrick Mahomes announce the birth of their third child
No matter what happens in the playoffs for the Chiefs, it’s already been a great 2025 for quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
Brittany Mahomes, co-owner of the Kansas City Current and Patrick’s wife, gave birth to a girl. The couple shared this photo on Monday of Golden Raye Mahomes.
Golden Raye was born on Sunday, the couple said in an Instagram post.
Mahomes had made the Chiefs’ pursuit of the top seed in the AFC playoffs a priority because it comes with a bye week.
“I told my wife, my pregnant wife, I was going to get that No. 1 seed, so we can go have that baby,” Mahomes said in a Netflix interview after beating the Steelers on Christmas. “So we got the No. 1 seed.“
Patrick and Brittany Mahomes started dating while in high school in Texas, got engaged in 2020 and then married in 2022 in Hawaii. Their first child, a daughter named Sterling, was born in 2021, while the couple’s son, Bronze, was born in November 2022.
The family also has two dogs: “Steel” and “Silver.”
In early July, the Mahomeses announced baby No. 3 was expected and a short while later let it be known they’d have another girl in a tic-tac-toe inspired gender reveal.
