Brittany Mahomes made the most of the winter storm that dumped a foot or more snow in Kansas City while her husband and the Chiefs were in Denver.

Mahomes, the KC Current co-owner, and the couple’s children used the ice crystals to make snow cones. She shared photos on Instagram of the novel snack option for 3-year-old daughter, Sterling, and 2-year-old son, Bronze.

It was one last fun activity before Mahomes gives birth to another daughter.

Following the Chiefs’ win over the Steelers on Christmas Day, quarterback Patrick Mahomes revealed that he had promised Brittany he’d get a playoff bye so she could have the baby.

“I told my wife, my pregnant wife, I was going to get that No. 1 seed, so we can go have that baby,” Patrick Mahomes said in a Netflix interview. “So we got the No. 1 seed.”

That baby will be here in a matter of days.

CBS Sports’ Tracy Wolfson revealed Brittany Mahomes’ due date in an X post.

No one happier to get back to KC than Patrick Mahomes,” Wolfson wrote.

“He told me his wife Brittany is due to give birth to their 3rd child on Sunday. If she doesn’t give birth by then she will be induced Monday. There was (definitely) extra motivation for Patrick to get that bye week!”
