For Pete's Sake

Chiefs receiver Rashee Rice wore friendship bracelets while catching TD pass

International singing sensation Taylor Swift wasn’t physically at the Chiefs’ preseason game Friday night at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium, but she was there in spirit.

Fans of Swift, who is dating Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, are known for making and sharing friendship bracelets. And Kelce had one prepared when he first tried to meet Swift two years ago when she played two concerts at Arrowhead.

Kelce also was quick to accept those bracelets whenever he went to see Swift on her Eras Tour.

One of Kelce’s teammates was spotted wearing friendship bracelets Friday during the KC victory over the Bears. It was wide receiver Rashee Rice, who caught a 4-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Patrick Mahomes on the first play of the second quarter.

Rice was spotted in photos with the friendship bracelets, which appeared to be on both wrists. Sure, Rice didn’t needed the good luck, but it’s kind of fun that he was wearing the bracelets when he caught the TD pass.
