Taylor Swift appearing on Travis Kelce’s New Heights this week
Worlds are colliding ... but in a good way.
Taylor Swift’s fans have been anxiously awaiting news of a new album from the superstar singer — and they refer to it as ts12. Those supporters also have long hoped that Swift would join the New Heights podcast at some point.
That podcast is hosted by Swift’s boyfriend, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, and his brother Jason, the former Philadelphia Eagles center.
And fan speculation ran wild after the New Heights podcast X account shared a photo of the Kelces with a guest whose image was blacked out. That is until New Heights social media confirmed Swift’s appearance with a teaser featuring the singer and the football star Monday evening.
New episodes of New Heights are released Wednesday morning. But instead of coming out in the morning, this week’s episode will be shared at night and in prime time. That’s unusual.
And Taylor Swift announced the release of her highly anticipated ts12 album titled “The Life of Showgirl” just after midnight Tuesday.
Ahead of the teaser featuring Swift, there were clues beyond the blacked-out image that made Swifties certain she’ll be on the show. Jason Kelce is wearing one of her shirts and the show is being released on the 13th, which is Swift’s favorite number. The sparkling background also seemed like a giveaway.
