Fans love videos of new Chiefs receiver Jalen Royals against Bills’ first-round pick

NBC Sports called the Chiefs’ selection of Utah State wide receiver Jalen Royals one of the biggest steals of the 2025 NFL Draft.

Ditto for CBS Sports and Sharp Football Analysis.

Royals and Utah State played in the Mountain West, which is not one of the Power Four conferences, so some may wonder how he’ll do in the NFL.

But Royals took part in the Senior Bowl, which is an all-star game and a way for players to show what they can do against other top-level seniors.

During a practice, Royals worked against Kentucky cornerback Maxwell Hairston, who was the first-round selection of the Buffalo Bills. Video clips have been shared on social media since the draft of Royals going against Hairston, and Chiefs fans have relished what they’ve seen.
