For Pete's Sake

Here is what Josh Simmons told Chiefs fans at his first meet-and-greet in KC

It’s been a whirlwind few days for Josh Simmons.

On Thursday night, Simmons was selected by the Chiefs with the 32nd overall pick in the NFL Draft. After the Chiefs made the decision to select Simmons, he was on the phone with coach Andy Reid and general manager Brett Veach.

Simmons then took a private jet to Kansas City on Saturday, and one of the first things he did was meet with Chiefs fans in Overland Park at the Chicken N Pickle.

The Chiefs shared some photos from their Draft Fest locations, and that included pictures of Simmons.

TikTok user Matt Bacaling shared video of Simmons meeting with Chiefs fans and you can hear what Simmons’ immediate plan of action.

“Just getting around the guys just start indulging in kind of the culture and tradition here. That’s the first thing. Like the Chiefs are known for just having a powerful brotherhood and that’s something I’m happy to be a part of.”
