At first blush, hearing that this year’s NFL Draft caps include a pin might appear kind of lame to some people.

But it seems to work, and a big part of that is the stylish look of the caps themselves. Each hat has a pin with specific meaning to a team.

For the Chiefs, the pin says 142.2, which is the decibel level reached at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium a decade ago when fans set a Guinness World Record for the loudest stadium.

A year ago, the Chiefs draft caps included a patch with the number 142.2.

As Uni Watch noted, all 32 team caps have a black crown, but the bill is a color specific to the club. In the case of the Chiefs, that’s red. And, of course, each team’s cap has a different pin.

Here is a closer look at the Chiefs’ draft cap.
