For Pete's Sake

The 5 coolest giveaways the Royals have planned this season, along with plans for bobbleheads

The Royals’ 30-win improvement last season resulted in a postseason berth and optimism abounds this year.

That should be enough to get fans to Kauffman Stadium, but if you need another reason, the Royals have some cool giveaways planned as part of their promotional schedule.

Here are the top five items fans can get at a game this season.

1. Replica World Series ring

The first 25,000 fans through the gates on May 17 for the Royals-Cardinals game will get a 2015 World Series replica ring. The Royals won the World Series by beating the Mets that season.

2. Pickleball paddle

A special Royals pickleball paddle will be given to fans who buy a theme ticket for the Royals’ game on June 25 against the Rays.

3. Replica jersey

The Royals will be handing out a “1985 championship replica jersey” to the first 15,000 fans at the team’s game against the Atlanta Braves. No word on if it’ll be a home or away jersey, but this is still a great giveaway.

4. Lunchbox

This one’s for the kids. The first 5,000 fans who are 14 or younger will get the lunchbox for the Aug. 19 game against the Texas Rangers. There is no image of the lunchbox just yet, but wouldn’t it be cool if it was like the Royals lunchbox in “Better Call Saul”?

5. Pasquatch necklace

Only 8,000 of these necklaces of the unofficial Vinnie Pasquantino mascot will be given to fans on May 27 when the Royals play Cincinnati. It’s unlike any other piece of jewelry you’ll see.

Bark in the Park

Whoever came up with the idea to allow fans to bring dogs to the ballpark changed baseball for the better.

Royals fans will have three chances to bring their favorite canine to Kauffman Stadium during the 2025 season: April 4, May 6 and Sept. 16.

Bobbleheads

There will be nine bobbleheads given out this season, including multiple ones for the players who were on the 2015 World Series championship team.

April 6: Vinnie Pasquantino (first 15,000 fans)

April 26: Mike Moustakas (first 20,000 fans)

May 16: Bret Saberhagen and George Brett combo (special ticket purchase required)

June 13: Alex Gordon (first 20,000 fans)

June 14: This is called Bobby’s record-breaker bobblehead (first 20,000 fans)

July 8: Cole Ragans (first 15,000 fans)

July 11: Eric Hosmer (first 20,000 fans)

Aug. 29: Bobby Witt Jr (first 15,000 fans)

Sept. 19: Salvador Perez (first 20,000 fans)
