Royals offering foods and drinks for reduced prices on a value menu at Kauffman Stadium
Like sports fans across the country, Royals supporters will grumble about ticket prices along with the cost of streaming games and parking at the Truman Sports Complex.
But one encouraging trend for those fans has been the increase in budget-friendly food and drinks at games.
The Atlanta Falcons were one of the first teams to cut the cost of concession items at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, and they found that sales jumped immediately.
The Royals also are offering a number of items for fans to buy for no more than $5. That includes hot dogs, pretzels, pop corn, soft drinks and beer.
There are special value meal areas around Kauffman Stadium where fans will be able to find those items during the 2025 season. They are located in sections 120, 135, 201, 213, 242, 405, 417 and 422.
Fans also will have the option to try some new foods starting this season, including the Z-Man sandwich from Joe’s Kansas City.
