Chiefs’ Travis Kelce, Taylor Swift joined music legends at epic Paul McCartney party

While at three of Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour concerts this weekend in London, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce hung out with Greta Gerwig, Tom Cruise and at least 16 other celebrities.

Videos of Kelce from the weekend showed he was relaxed while chatting and dancing with those stars. As we learned Wednesday, it wasn’t his first time being in the company of A-List celebs.

Late-night host Jimmy Kimmel joined “The Howard Stern” show and recalled being invited to a party at Paul McCartney’s house in California earlier this year. After arriving, Kimmel and his wife, Molly McNearney, found Swift playing DJ in the kitchen.

Others at the bash included legendary director Steven Spielberg and his wife, actress Kate Capshaw, Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger, former Beatles drummer Ringo Starr and a pair of “Friends” stars: Jennifer Aniston and Courtney Cox.

Oh, and Bruce Springsteen was there, too.

Kimmel estimated about 100 people were at the bash.

At the time, Kelce was staying with Swift at her Beverly Hills mansion. It was built in 1934 by the late movie producer Samuel L. Goldwyn Sr.

“We were invited to a dinner that night, and then the host of the dinner got invited to that party and said, ‘Why don’t we all go to the party?’ And so we went to the party,” Kimmel recalled. “And they said Taylor Swift was DJing, she just had her iPhone and kind of tapped into the house system, but it wasn’t like she was hired to work there.”

When asked if Kelce was there, Kimmel confirmed the Chiefs star was on hand. Stern then talked about Kelce’s turn on stage Sunday in London.

McNearney casually mentioned she hung out with “Friends” stars Courtney Cox and Jennifer Aniston.

Kimmel said he talked about Elvis Presley with Springsteen.

“We even had that moment like can you believe this party?” Kimmel said. “Even Bruce Springsteen was like, this is some party.”

Stern wanted to know if there was talk about getting Cox to dance with Springsteen to recreate their famous 1980s video for his song, “Dancing In The Dark.”

If Kelce is short on material for a future episode of his New Heights podcast, it would be great to hear more about that night.

Here is the discussion of the party with some of music’s most iconic stars.

UPDATE: Kimmel had talked about the party earlier this month when actor Austin Butler was on his show.

Butler said the living members of the Rolling Stones were there, which means Keith Richards also was at the party. And actress Meryl Streep was at the bash, too.

That is one wild party.
