New Chiefs wide receiver Marquise “Hollywood” Brown appears to be active on social media.

Brown on Thursday shared an Instagram post of a text message he received from Chiefs coach Andy Reid, and celebrated his contract with Kansas City with a post on X.

After the deal became public knowledge, Brown was on Twitch enjoying some music. Specifically, he was listening to Fast Life Yungstaz’s “Swag Surfin’,” which was the Chiefs’ unofficial anthem last season.

Brown will fit right in with the Chiefs if he’s listening to songs like this.

Brown was on Twitch on Wednesday night, too. He was watching video clips of NFL quarterbacks and, perhaps not so coincidentally, he viewed highlights of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

The highlight reel was from the 2018 season when Mahomes threw 50 touchdown passes, and Brown was clearly impressed with his new teammate.

At one point, Brown said of a Mahomes pass: “That’s a dot. He be throwing dots like a gnat.”

Here is a clip of Brown being enchanted by how his new quarterback can sling the ball. (Be aware that Brown does curse in this video).

Some fans on social media worried that those “dots” Mahomes throws might be dropped by Brown. However, ESPN’s Matt Miller shared a look at the statistics and said any concerns are unwarranted.
