The unofficial party song for the Chiefs this season has been “Swag Surfin’” by F.L.Y., and fans began to take notice last month.

During the Chiefs’ 25-17 win over the Bengals, linebacker Willie Gay got word to the public-address people at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium that he wanted to hear the song.

Soon after, the tune was played and the Chiefs players began dancing on the sideline.

The song was played again late in the Chiefs’ win over the Dolphins in an AFC Wild Card game and it led to a celebration in a suite where Taylor Swift and Brittany Mahomes were watching.

At some point, the folks at Spotify notice the Chiefs’ connection to the song. And so the music-streaming service began using a clip of the Chiefs on the sideline with the song. It features running back Isiah Pacheco dancing.

That will should be Gay in the video, but it’s cool to see Pacheco and the Chiefs get some love on Spotify.
