Tight end Travis Kelce is accustomed to performing in front of a big television audience as Chiefs games routinely draw huge ratings.
Heck, Super Bowl LVII was seen by 113 million people.
But Kelce put aside his helmet and pads on Saturday night for a different kind of show. Kelce was the guest host of “Saturday Night Live” as he tried his hand at acting.
How’d he do? We’ll let you decide.
Here’s a look at the skits that featured Kelce, starting with his monologue. He did a Patrick Mahomes imitation, and introduced his parents, Donna and Ed, along with his brother, Jason, the Eagles center.
Kelce also referenced being kicked off the Cincinnati football team for a brief time.
Kelce’s first skit showed him as an, uh, eccentric fan at an American Girl Cafe.
Kelce followed that up by playing a twisted self-defense instructor named Kurt Lightning.
Jason Kelce joined a skit as the boyfriend of Heidi Gardner, the Kansas City native, and it made Travis Kelce jealous.
“Saturday Night Live” is known for its commercial parodies, and Kelce starred in a new one about a “Straight Male Friend” service.
In another skit, Kelce portrayed a nurse for a dearly departed mother/grandmother and he helped ruin a funeral
Kelce portrayed a video-game enthusiast named Sucre Wolodarski, who was at a very awkward family meeting.
Gardner and Kelce teamed up for another skit, this one featuring a person from the dating app Hinge. Garrett was not happy about a date being broken.
Kelce got to try a foreign accent as he was a contestant on the reality show, “Too Hot To Handle.” He couldn’t keep his hands off “SNL” cast member Chloe Fineman.
