Chiefs’ Patrick Mahomes says fiancee ‘upgraded’ his Ferrari for his birthday
What do you get the man who signed a half-billion dollar contract extension and is the most popular athlete in the country’s most popular sport?
That was the question facing Brittany Matthews, who is Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes’ fiancee. But it appears she was up to the task.
Mahomes turned 25 last week and during an interview on KCSP (610 AM), he said Matthews’ gift was a home run.
“Ah, it was pretty cool. Brittany upgraded my car and so she redid the inside of my car and the interior and all that different types of stuff,” Mahomes said, “and I had no idea was coming so it was a great gift.”
You may recall that Mahomes acquired a Ferrari 812 Superfast this summer, and that car has a base price tag of $338,000.
